Creating a Website Using a WYSIWYG Editor

This is a very basic, step-by-step tutorial for those who have no html experience and want to create a fairly simple web site. We are going to use a wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) html editor to create a site without typing a single line of html code.

We have chosen to use "NVU" as our html editor for this tutorial because a) it is free, and b) it is quite simple to use. You can download NVU here.

Once you have downloaded and installed NVU, you are ready to begin. Start with part one of the tutorial to set up NVU to publish to Wahmmy.com Free Hosting, and to set up the basic options for your new site. (If you are using NVU to create your web site, you can ignore our FTP tutorial. We will show you how to set up NVU to publish your site without using a separate FTP program).
